Who We Are

Founded in 2005 as Ascend Financial Management Inc, the company quickly grew and expanded services.  Today, a family-run business known as Pollard Tax, services many different industries in the Northern California region and services tax clients nationwide.

The Team

Kimberley E. Pollard, EA


Kimberley has 30+ years of Accounting with various knowledge in Business, Finance, and HR. She holds her BA in Accounting and obtained her EA. She continuously educates herself on new laws, regulations, and requirements relative to the services the firm provides. She is known to go above and beyond for her clients.

In her spare time she enjoys being outdoors, traveling, and spending time with her family. She enjoys a good bottle of wine and dark chocolate no matter the occasion. 

Amber M. 
Washer


Amber has 10+ years of Office Management & Administration experience. She also has 1.5+ years as a Payroll Specialist & 2.5+ years in Healthcare Recruiting. Amber manages our social media and marketing as well. She has been an elevation to our firm and continues to grow in her profession.

Outside of the office she loves to be around family and friends, be outdoors, and sell Mary Kay. She is known to work hard, even in her off time. 
Amber is one to laugh at her own jokes, but most importantly, puts smiles on others faces. She has an infectious personality. 

Norren L.
McBurney


Norren has 12+ years of Administration and Office Management experience. She received her Degrees in Liberal Studies and Business Administration. She has a strong passion to help our clients and provide them with superb customer service.

Her off time shows her passion to help others. She serves within her community and is an officer for social/networking club FilAm Biz Club. She is also a secretary for her sons' Trail Life Troop. She is an outstanding mother of 3 children, and goes out of her way to make sure they are set up for success! 

Craig A.
Washer


Craig has 2+ years of Administration and Record Management experience. His education focuses on Business and Accounting. He is a number wiz! He plays a large roll ensuring our company's filing is compliant and well organized. He is focused, detailed, and adds great value to our firm.
